On September 18th, our very own DOGU released his new single “Gulu City” together with Ugandan producer Nase Avatar, out now on Switchstance Recordings.

“Gulu City” is the first single from the forthcoming album Indigenous Frequencies, a cross-cultural project by DOGU and the Ugandan producers Nase Avatar and Wana Benjamin, set for release in spring 2027. Recorded in Gulu with local musicians, the track brings indigenous Ugandan instruments such as the Adungu, Nanga, and African fiddle together with Afro Dancehall production, and pays tribute to the calm and beauty of the northern Ugandan city.
